The food industry in general, and the rice industry in particular, make a significant contribution to the social development process. However, it is also not only stable continuously, but there are ups and downs. We, who embark on this path, understand the hardships of farmers, wish to send quality into every grain of rice, wish to bring Vietnamese values to the world.

Improving the quality of exported rice requires not only good seeds but also a closed production process to ensure food hygiene and safety. Consumers around the world are increasingly interested in the origin, production process, quality standards and nutritional content of rice, and no longer consider rice as a mere food item. While at present, the rice production areas that meet the high quality standards of our country are still small and fragmented, especially the production of organic rice is still arduous and challenging. However, we cannot delay in carrying out this task because Vietnam's "rivals" in rice export have been making great changes in the way of farming and processing to improve the quality of rice in perfect way.

It can be seen that, for many years now, Vietnam has always been one of the world's largest rice exporters, making an important contribution to ensuring global food security. At present, many countries can be self-sufficient in food sources to limit rice imports, but the demand for delicious rice, high quality rice, and nutritious rice is increasing in many countries. Putting aside the worry of the traditional market shrinking, this is the time when the domestic rice industry needs to focus strongly on growing high-quality rice varieties and specialty rice to create a rich source of goods and open wings door to fastidious markets such as the US, Australia, EU, ... but bring high added value to Vietnamese rice.

From the early 20s of the twenty-first century, the world market developed strongly in many directions, unpredictable price fluctuations made the rice industry wobble, farmers sometimes fell into misery. Looking at the scene of the little backs sitting idly on the edge of the field, where the price of rice reached the bottom, no one could help but feel sorry.
