On the morning of June 30, the Coordination Office for New Rural Development in An Giang province held a conference to implement the One Commune One Product (OCOP) program in An Giang province in 2022 and orientation for the 2021-2025 period.

As of June 2022, the province An Giang 62 products have achieved OCOP certification. In which, 2 products achieved 5 stars at the national level, 12 products achieved 4 stars, 48 products achieved 3 stars of 45 economic entities (4 cooperatives, 20 enterprises, 21 production facilities). OCOP certified products mainly belong to the following industry groups: Food (48 products), beverages (12 products), herbs (1 product), handicrafts, and decoration (1 product).
Striving to the end of 2022, the whole province has 50-70 more products evaluated and classified "OCOP products" with 3 stars or more, including tourism products participating in the program. Along with that, districts, towns and cities continue to support to maintain and improve products that are certified "OCOP products" and have 10% of products evaluated for upgrade.
On this occasion, 11 products were awarded the certificate "Sản phẩm OCOPPhase II/2021 for 2 subjects with products that achieve typical OCOP products in the Mekong Delta in 2022 are awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee.
